Applications no longer installed by using SD Card

Hi,

I bought my son a Galaxy Tab S 4. I assumed with all the game apps he was downloading the internal memory would be maxed so I purchased a Micro SD Card. When I inserted I tried transferring the majority of Apps now onto the SD Card in order to free up space for the tablet to run smoothly. Most apps transferred but one or two days later all the transferred apps icon show just the android sign with a pic of an SD card. When you click on them it says: Application not installed.

Being new to Android Im not sure why this has happened and how to fix it. Can anyone offer any help please???

Thanks

Shane

The OS that comes on the Tab S Installs apps to Internal Memory. Some apps can be moved or, at least, their data can be moved to the external sd card. But you can't just use some of those "move app" utilities to move an app to an external card from what I've read. I don't know about the newer OS which is currently being released (SLOWLY from what I read) will change things in this area.
