Why are fake virus warnings popping up on your website?

This happened to me when I accidentally clicked an ad and didn't realize it.

I have noticed the exact same thing. I have isolated the problem to the Android Central site.

I get an annoying virus pop-up warning that my phone is infected. I get this only when visiting Android Central's website. Occurs on both Android with Chrome browser and iPhone with Safari browser.

Has Android Central acknowledged this problem?

I've noticed too that most times the Android Central App and Tampa talk does not work - forcing me to use browser... But then the annoying pop-up occurs. I'm using tapatalk to post this message.

If the problem is not addressed - I will be forced to cease using and visiting Android Central.

Wouldn't be using Android Central except for Adguard. (Side loaded from creator NOT Playstore version.)
