Why are my Apps renamed?

Why are some of my applications renamed? I have meebo and chompSMS and they both renamed on their on to their package names, what gives? Why would they go from "Meebo" and "ChompSMS" to com.meebo and etc, please help as this is annoying!

I had the same problem. I just removed chomp, reinstalled, and It was fixed for a little bit, but went right back to com.chomp within a day. But I'm using Handcent now

Might be a task killer I uninstalled one and that issue has not surfaced yet

LOL, I just removed chomp as of 45 minutes ago and installed handcent and man what a great move that was, it's like like night and day.
