Why are my exported slow motion videos all black?

[Android Central Question]

Galaxy S8+. I used the phone to edit the clips so the slow motion effect is where I need it to be & then saved the edited videos. After that I have exported them to my PC. All I get when I attempt to play the videos though is a completely black screen. Does anyone know what's going on & how to fix it? I really need those clips on my PC for further editing as they are a huge portion on the B roll for a video I'm making. I'd hate to find out I've wasted 3 days of filming & have to do it all again.

Have you tried to back up through smart switch and then put to pc ?
