Why are my google play games achevments not working

[Android Central Question]

I've been playing games without google play games and just now downloaded it and all my acheivments that I know i've gotten wont load in and it says i havnt gooten any

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not sure if it'll register the achievements retroactively. You might have to have Google Play Games installed and linked to the game while you make the achievement in order for it to count.
