Why are my Nexus 10 volume buttons reversed on my Android v5.0.1?

Nexus 10 Volume Buttons Reversed on Android v5.0.1

My Nexus 10 has updated to android 5.0.1, and now the volume buttons on the edge of the device have reversed, so the volume up button now turns the volume down and vice versa. Can anyone help?

Have you tried a factory reset? I'd give that a try since you just updated - hopefully that fixes the problem.

Have completed two separate full factory resents, and the volume button issue is still there.

Maybe, but that would mean that in portrait mode the power and volume buttons would be in the bottom left hand corner, is that intended?

I just went online and looking at the manual it shows the thing in landscape mode and the power button is on the top row. The volume is to the left of that, then the microphone and front facing camera in the center.
