Why are my voicemail notifications stuck on my phone?

I have a lg stylo 2 by boost mobile and i recently just brought the phone when I activated the phone the voicemail notification comes up and wont go away on my phone. I had already call my phone company about itl. We did everything it stills pop up on my phone can you please help me..
