Why Are Texts Going To Email Account Also?

Setting up Note 8. Every text I get also generates an email into my work account (corporate email). I feel like I know how to fix this, but I'm tired and can't get it figured out.

there's a setting I saw somewhere. too tired tonight. if I come across it again I'll come back with the location. you might also check your settings for your text app.

I don't have syn sms and my texts were showing up in my email. I changed the setting but don't remember where.

Are you using Live/Hotmail by any chance? If so, go into Mail and look at the options for the MS server - you'll see the last checkbox relates to this. Uncheck it and you will be golden.
