Why are the Ceramic Black and White phones significantly heavier than the glass models?

This may seem like a dumb question, but considering the fact that the internal components are the same, is a sheet of ceramic that much heavier than glass? The regular S10+ is listed as weighing 175g, vs. 198g for the ceramic models. I have small hands, and I'm longngly passing on the Note 9 because of its 201g heft. I also know about non-reinforced glass being hollow in terns of composition. But what about the ceramic phones justifies the price difference? Does ceramic aid in terms of signal reception strength? I bought the screen and back protectors from RhinoShield, as well as the OtterBox Defender Pro case to use with the S10+, so I know either way, it's gonna feel like a brick, but I wondering if the ceramic model will have more issues with all that protection on it than the glass model? I'm finally gonna pull the trigger on getting the phone for my birthday on Monday, so I want to know if one will give me issues over the other?

I believe the Ceramic may be thicker IIRC. As far as the higher price, some of that is due to RAM and storage options. Ceramic will not impede the signal and the antennas lines are external

I have the White 512GB/8GG by the way. More than adequate in terms of Storage/RAM. At the time I got it for about the same price as the top non ceramic model which made it an easy decision. I've said they should my make ceramic backs instead of glass. Much better drop resistance than glass.
