Why are the edges of my LG G3 Screen not working

[AC Question]

3 things have changed recently, I update my Verizon LG G3, I bought a new battery (not LG, the LG one had died and the phone only worked when plugged in) and the right and left 0.25" of the screen no longer recognize being touched.

It started with the right side then went to the left. I assume this has to do with one of the two things mentioned above. But, before I buy a new battery or anything I wanted to ask if anyone knows what's going on?

Hello there!

"Sounds" like the display is going out. You can try entering recovery and wiping Cache Partition or going into safe mode. If that doesn't work. A Full Factory Reset can be done....BE SURE TO BACK UP ALL YOUR IMPORTANT DATA!
