Why are the mods wrecking this forum?

Can you clarify what's been deleted? We have been organizing things and sorting things between current discussion of the Note 7 situation and those revolving around how to return with various retailers - but there hasn't been much deleting going on.

To clarify what I'm asking, we have logs of what has been deleted and by whom and there have been 12 threads deleted today.

5 were spam, 2 were requested by the user, the remaining 5 were split between promotion of illegal activities and members starting flame wars.

Illegal activities? Did I miss the thread selling drugs?
Typically illegal activities are posts with links to pirated content, illegal copies of apps, promoting fraud, changing imei numbers, asking how to bypass security on stolen phones, etc.

Things like that.

So basically you're not gonna tell me where I'm gonna find a good copy of Sully? Man. Forum wrecked. 😂

Sorry mate, not on this board anyway. But like everything else, it's somewhere on the internet. Apologies for wrecking the forum. lol

Just want to express some gratitude for all the hard work done by the Android Central Moderators (I'm a Moderator in another life so I know exactly what they are dealing with). Tough choices sometimes need to be made, and it's never pleasant when we see we have had a thread or post deleted, OR when we get contacted by the Mods that we have a warning or infraction. Lets all remember that they are just doing their job. Also, they are ALWAYS open to a reasonable inquiry from a concerned member. IF you think you've had a post or thread deleted, or received a warning or infraction without cause, first course of action is to contact the Moderator directly via PM (ALWAYS PM, never on the public forum), if that is not satisfactory then you contact Aquila the Mod Team Leader, OR his boss James Falconer, our Community Manager via PM, they are always willing to speak with us. :)

Kudos to Aquila who responded to this thread so quickly my head spun!!!!!! Well done Matt!
