Why are various apps not working after Nov 6 2017 update?

[Android Central Question]

1) Lost Facebook status-page, color backgronds completely; 2) many gaming apps rebooting constantly in-game; 3) desktop icons moved and typeface too small and cheap looking with "white" background in boxes--hard to see/read; 4) desktop icons showing incomplete, like same need to be put in files. All in all, the latest update waxes superfluous, tedious, and SLOPPY! What are you thinking? How can customers GET RID OF THESE TERRIBLE CHANGES?
