Why are videos from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge downloading to my PC as music files?

When I use my USB cable to transfer videos I have taken from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to my PC, they are being saved on the PC as music files. How can I get them to download as videos?

Downloading videos to your pc won't change the file extension. In other words, more than likely your phone is creating mp4 (video) files, so the pc won't change that to say, mp3 (audio) files. If you read the file extension of the transferred files on your pc, what are they?
