Why can i hear charging notification sound when on a phone call and phone is not charging?

[Android Central Question]

I have a Nokia 8.3
Whilst on a phone call I keep hearing the charging notification sound you get when you plug the phone in to charge.
It just keeps going throughout the phone call over and over. The phone isn't plugged in to charge and the other person can't hear it.
How can I stop it please.
It seems to have started after an update to phone.

If still happening in safe mode , try clearing the phone app data then force stop it.
