Why can I no longer send Mass Text on my AT&T Galaxy S9+?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ through AT&T using Samsung messaging. I used to be able to toggle back and forth between sending a group message (everyone sees and can reply back to the group of contacts) and a mass text (send to multiple contacts but get message individually and only reply to me not the group) by going into message settings and tapping the little people icon, but after some update this is now gone. Is there a way to still do this? Or do I have to change what app I use to send messages to do it?

If Samsung changed the app, you'll have to use some other app - maybe Android Messages.
