Why can I not properly connect to car bluetooth?

After an update today my Samsung galaxy s5 will no longer connect to the bluetooth car handsfree to make calls. When I searched for the phone, it said it couldnt find it and to turn the bluetooth on. It is on. I can however connect and use pandora and it says the phone is connected! please help me..
