Why can I not received any notifications on my samsung note 8

[Android Central Question]

At the moment I cannot receive any notifications from any apps and this inculdes no badges with numbers next to any icons. So I have to go into the messages app to check if I have messages, go into whatsapp etc. The push notifications that I have allowed on certain apps dont work either. I get no notifications of any kind.

I have reset permissions, switched the phone on and off, enabled the various options in settings, nothing seems to work.

Did you go into settings - notifications, and enable the notifications you want?

Recently I've been having the same issue on my Note 8 too. Any help appreciated.

I have the same issue for months... I've found no solution as of yet. Sometimes I get notifications and most of the time I do not.
