Why can I not send videos via WhatsApp using the share icon in Google Photos?

I'm using Android Q beta 3. Recently noticed that I can no longer share videos from within the Google Photos app to WhatsApp. They appear as a "bin" file and are called "untitled". The same videos share fine when I do so using the share interface within WhatsApp itself.
