why can't I answer my calls on my active watch?

Is there a setting I'm missing on my active watch to answer calls? when I get a call I swipe answer and it says "see phone" on the watch. What am I missing?

the watch doesn't have a speaker. so unless your connected to a bluetooth headset, you have to use your phone to answer I believe.
