Why can't I change rear to front camera while recording a video?

[AC Question]

I cannot change rear to front camera while recording a video

I just bought a SAmsung galaxy S 6 smartphone. While I am recording a video i cannot by any means change the camera to front facing.There is no option no icon only the capture icon on the left (in order to capture in a pic what i am shooting at the moment), the square icon to stop the video and the pause icon on the right corner. Any help would be awesome!!! I hope it is something obvious. Thank you everyone

As far as I am concerned, while recording you can not switch between the front camera and the back camera. However before recording you can switch between the two, its if you start recording you can not switch.

If I'm not mistaken, I think on the s6 you can pause the recording and then start recording again from where you left off. Try pausing the recording and then see if you can switch cameras and start recording again.

You aren't able to switch cameras mid recording, BUT, you can however download Dual Camera.

With the camera open, hit mode>download>find dual camera.

Both cameras will be recording at the same time but you the ability to use both.
