Why cant I connect to the mobile network

So my note 4 was bought in UK and it is locked to Vodafone. after receiving the phone i went to see the technician so I maybe able to slot local carriers. after the success unlock. I used the local carrier and at first I can send messages then theres a time when I cant send messages(cant send nor receive,same with calls and mobile internet) and i have to resort to turning my phone off taking the sim out and reversing the process. and i am stuck with the same problem again. anyone can find solutions to this?

i havent tried out that yet .. im guessing its because of my simcard being cut wrongly. (from ip5s to note4)

That could certainly be the problem. The nano-to-micro SIM adapter you have might not fit correctly. See if you can find one that fits better.
