Why can't I enter numbers on my Galaxy Tab 3?

i can't enter numbers on my galaxy tab 3

I have no problems entering text but the numbers seldom work. I even did a factory reset and it didn't help. When I'm ordering online, i can't even type in how many quantities i want. Help please! This is a 7" tablet. Like now it let's me enter numbers but if it's a numbers only item, it won't work

Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

That's a strange one.

Odd, even.

For now, why don't you download the SwiftKey keyboard, set is as default in Language and Input (a notification will ask again) and chose the layout option of having a numbers row on top.

As to the Samsung keyboard, you have done a full reset. You could try Reset Settings in the Samsung Keyboard settings;
clearing the cache, and possibly clearing data losing predictions I think, in the Samsung Keyboard App Info, and doing a Cache partiition wipe in Recovery Mode.

Figured it out its a keyboard issue. If you have any keyboard other than default go back to keyboard that came with phone or tablet and that should solve the number issue.....

I can't enter number on the samsung tablette. The applications works on mobile phone with android and iOS, iPad with safari and computers (window & safari). This application doesn't work on the Samsung Galaxy only, it works on all other devices. As any one find out how to fix this keyboard issue? Thanks !

Welcome to Android Central! What app are you referring to? Do you mean that your keyboard app won't let you type numbers? Does it depend on where you're trying to enter the numbers?
