Why can't I find videos I took on my phone?

Android phone, Moto Z Play Droid, Verizon. I occasionally take pictures and videos using the camera icon that automatically came with the phone?

I downloaded Collage Maker about 6 weeks ago but don't understand much about it, haven't done anything with it.

I had a few videos I had taken on my phone from 4 to 1 year ago. Now I can't find the videos anywhere.

Do old photos, videos, get deleted? Can I get them back?

Unless you deleted them yourself (or did a factory reset at some point), they should remain on the phone's storage. Use a file manager app to look directly in the /DCIM/Camera directory, and see if you can find the video files there.

The Moto Z (at least the Droid edition) came with a built-in File Manager app, my screen shot shows the default view when the app is opened. Select Local and then drill down to the folder B. Diddy mentioned.
