Why can't I get my phone?

Hi...I pre-ordered my s22 ultra and received notification that it has been delivered to the Verizon store. Meanwhile, I go to pick it up and I am told I can't get it until Friday. Has anyone else had this problem?

Because that's the official release date. Stores abide by it.

My local store said they would give out pre-orders early there. He said it basically varies for every phone release. They get an email saying when they can release the phone. Maybe contact customer support and see if they can help you get the store to release it to you early.
