Why cant i go into recovery mode on android oreo

[Android Central Question]

I have tried every key combination and nothing seems to work.I wanna go into recovery mode to wipe the cache partition.The phone just boots up like normal any help would be appreciated

Before the device restarts hold volume up and power button same time

Duplicate threads merged. You really need to tell us which device you have. Android phones are not all exactly the same -- the procedure may differ depending on the manufacturer. Some manufacturers don't let you get into Recovery Mode.

My phone is a viumee ev6 elite.ok so now I kinda got into recovery but then it's show an Android with a exclamation point and says no command

Try Volume Up at that point. (Or Volume Down.) Or the phone may not have a native recovery mode. Some phones don't. (Early LG phones only had a factory reset mode, not a full recovery mode.) It's not a common phone, so there's not much technical information available about it.

On Nexus/Pixel phones, at the No Command screen, you have to press and hold Power, then press Vol Up, then release both at the same time. Do these in fairly quick succession.
