Why can't I install apps from Google Play Store even though I've got ample storage available?

A

AC Question

I am using an Z998 from LG. When I try to install the PlayStation app, after download is successful, installation is not. I tried deleting things till I had 210 megabytes of internal storage. The PlayStation app is only 7.10mb in size. However, I have attempted a total of 4, or 5 times, trying to install. "Cannot install: insufficient storage.". What do I do...?

🙋Yes, 210mb is not enough. I've had similar problems with a low storage device, and in my case with more than 210mb free. If you've deleted everything you can, there's nothing much left but to root the phone so that you can uninstall unwanted pre-installed apps, but even that is unlikely to make much space. Your warranty would be voided too.
