Why can't I remove teamwin recovery?

I had my phone rooted and because of warranty issues I needed to unroot the phone. But for some reason Teamwin Rec can't be removed. How do I pretty much make my phone a 100% factory stocked phone??

Just flash the stock ROM or recovery for your phone and it will replace TWRP.

I have tried multiple times. Every time I put it in recovery mode as if I was just doing a normal hard reset, it brings me back to the TWRP. Am I doing something bad? I have read so many ways to do it and I keep having problems.

I tried through TWRP and nothing. And flash stock ROM, it's very confusing. I'm not very tech savvy. I rooted my phone to get rid of the bloatware and help with the battery life but I guess it wasn't necessary. I had a friend of a friend do his magic on the phone and now I need it to not be how it is. I'm sorry and can tell this will get annoying real fast.

Can you enter fastboot?

If so, and you already have stock recovery.img file for your M9, then run the following command from fastboot:

fastboot flash recovery (stock recovery file name).img

Reboot from fastboot:

fastboot reboot

I can not fastboot.

I mean at this point does it matter? I just haven't the slightest idea of how to use a rooted phone.

You should ask the person that rooted your phone for help with restoring m9 stock recovery.
