Why cant i safly move pictures to my SD card?

I have a 64GB sd card and it worked fine until a few days ago. Now whenever i try to move pictures from my phone storage to it, they get erased. I also ran some anti virus apps and the phone is secured. Why is it so? Do i need to buy a new one or is there a problem with my phone?

It sounds like a problem with the SD card - maybe it's a counterfeit and not really 64GB. Take it out of the phone, put it into a PC and copy everything that's on it. Then format it (as exFAT). Put it back in the phone and format it again. Then copy everything back to it. If that doesn't fix things, the card is bad. (If it's a SanDisk, you can get help online at SanDisk microSD Tech Support [upper right - live chat] and if it's bad they'll replace it - it's still under warranty.)
