Android Central Question
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S8.
I do not want to save all photos that I am sent on WhatsApp and have managed to delete my WhatsApp Images folder in my gallery, although I cannot remember how I did that or how to get it back. They do not save despite WhatsApp's Auto-Download feature being turned on. I do not have a .nomedia file in my Files > WhatsApp > WhatsApp Images folder.
What I would prefer would be to be able to hold down on an individual image that I am sent on WhatsApp and save it directly to my gallery in the same way that you can on an iPhone. Currently, the only seemingly relevant options I have are to Share or View in gallery.
Does anyone know how this can be done? If not, can anyone advise on how to recover my WhatsApp Images folder to my gallery?
Thank you.
