Why can't I save pics from Facebook to my phone anymore??

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and all of a sudden, I can't save pics/memes to my phone anymore. Well, Facebook let's me save them but when I go into my gallery, the saved pic doesn't exist anywhere in my gallery. When I go into my files, it will show I have things saved in my Facebook album in gallery, but when I click on it to view the pic, it says "no files". In fact, it says that for all of my previously saved Facebook pics. Can anyone help?

Hi, possible the Android version your running is the issue , which one is it in?

Go to Settings>Apps, select Facebook, then Permissions Does it have permission for Storage? (I'm not sure which Android version your phone has -- it's possible the version is too old to allow for separate permissions for separate items.)
