Why can't I see sent messages?

Can't see sent messages

We are having problems suddenly not being able to see sent text messages on a Galaxy S5. My daughter was using the messages+ app. We've uninstalled and reinstalled. It happens on the messages+ app and the factory loaded messaging program.

I've trying looking to see if there is an auto clean up or a setting for sent messages. Either there is none or I can't find it.

Anyone able to help restore the ability to see the text messages that are sent?

Sent messages should appear in the conversation thread. Do you see the received messages from a particular contact? If so, the sent should follow - let us know if it does not.
