Why can't i send sms on A51?

My phone functions normally except for sms. I can receive sms but i cannot send sms. I have called Verizon and they had me reset my network settings. Place the phone on airplane mode for 30 seconds and turn airplane mode off. Then I did a complete factory reset. No luck. Can anyone help me in this matter?

Could you try another SIM, or your SIM in another phone?

Welcome to Android Central! This is when sending to any contact, or only certain ones? What happens when you try to send an SMS -- do you get an error message, or does the recipient just tell you they didn't get anything?

Did you get this phone from Verizon, or did you get it unlocked from somewhere else and bring it to Verizon?

Have you tried another message app like Google messages?
