Why can't I set up my email account on my galaxy A3

I do all the steps it asks and I still get authentication failed. My email is an outlook email address

Check the Outlook.com email server names.
A while back Microsoft changes some of the server names, but that might be related to the old Hotmail service (fuzzy memory).
