Android Central Question

I use swipe to text, and unlike my previous phone, I'm having trouble swiping profanities. I've looked at other forums and followed their instructions. I've gone to On Screen Keyboards and made sure that the three keyboards listed (Samsung, Samsung Voice, and Google Voice) all do not block offensive words; although, such an option is not listed for the default Samsung keyboard.

After this didn't work, I reset the keyboards and toggled with their settings again, but without avail. I am stuck having to type out, letter-by-letter, the profane word that I want to use and accepting it as a word (in order to show auto correct that it's a word). Even still, I am unable to swipe profane words. Instead, it registers as a word with a similar swipe pattern.

This is extremely annoying, and I hate that I upgraded from an S6 Edge+ to this censoring S9 for this and many other reasons.

If its necessary for you to swipe profanities, then you'll need to switch to another keyboard. Try Gboard, in it's settings there's a switch to block or unblock offensive words.

Can you add them as custom words? That's what I have to do with Swype. It's not that they are actively blocked, but rather they don't exist in the app's dictionary.
