why is my phone cant connect to my playstore

if i try to connect my phone to my playstore,
they always say "check your connection and try again.

Silly question, you are connected to the internet when trying right? If you are and it is doing that, try going in to settings, application manager, all, go down to the play store and clear the data from it. Open again and see if it works.
