AC Question
Unlocked S6 Edge cannot select LTE
I have a Galaxy S6 Edge, Model SM-G925W8, that I recently unlocked from one carrier, and transferred it over to another carrier (Telus). When I factory reset my phone, the phone automatically connects with LTE. However, whenever I enable airplane mode or restart the phone, it no longer is able to connect with LTE, only 3G. I have checked under Mobile networks, Network Mode, and there are only three options (WCDMA/GSM, WCDMA only, and GSM only); there is no 4th option for LTE! How I activate LTE (bear in mind that it DOES work with the network as after factory reset, it works; restarting the phone somehow triggers my phone to lose LTE). I know the answer lies with dialing some type of code *#4646 or whatever, I just haven't found any threads specific to S6 Edge. Thank you!
