why can't update my htc one m7

whenever i try to update my htc it gives a red triangle with an exclamation mark on the boot screen.

it was pushed over the air and i did'nt download it from any where.

It's unusual that you're getting an OTA system update for a phone that old. Did you just recently buy it used or refurbished from somewhere? Was the phone originally tied to a carrier, or has it always been unlocked?

Also, which carrier are you on?

i recently bought this phone. It is ATandT version. I have tried clearing cache partition but it does not help either.

Ok -- it's an AT&T-branded phone, but are you also on the AT&T network?
