Why did my phone number accept a family Mobile plan, yet i am having trouble activating the SIM

[Android Central Question]

I have a brand new SIM card in my phone which is 2 months old, yet im having trouble activating it even tho I put a plan on the phone yesterday,,, it accepted the plan
