Why did my sound go out?

So I have had my galaxy tab 4 for almost a year and a half now, but its been doing pretty well since then. But yesterday i was just watching some videos w/headphones on when the audio in one of the speakers just dies out. Thought it was the headphones, so i switched them out for another pair but those didn't work either. I ended up buying new ones and those didn't work and i tried cleaning the jack too but it seemed like it don't work. I don't know what to do know and i tried looking up something to help but i don't want to reset my tablet to factory settings.

Probably your headphone port is broken. It's soldered to mainboard, your option is using bluetooth headphone
