Android Central Question

I powered off my tablet at 12:56am with it fully charged and then powered it back on at 7:50am and it drained 12% and was already at 88% even with it powered off. What the hek is going on and how do I fix this?

It sounds like your battery is getting weak. Chances are that it didn't lose the charge while it was powered off, but it drained that much during the boot up process. If you routinely charge to 100%, that can lead to extra wear and tear on the battery. On a related note, going below 40% also makes it wear out much quicker. The general age of the battery also plays into this, as all batteries wear out eventually.
