why did samsung music separate an album i synced to my phone?

[Android Central Question]

It literally separated one song. It has the album name and the correct song title, but the artist name is "unknown". I looked in my downloads and the paths are the same (/Internal storage/Music/FleetwoodMac/Rumours) but for whatever reason it decided to separate the very first song. Does samsung music let you rename the artists?? This is the first time i've had this problem. I have a galaxy S8.

Welcome to Android Central! Most music apps rely on the embedded ID4 tag info (which you can view and edit using programs like Windows Media Explorer, iTunes, or MediaMonkey). If that one song's ID4 tag info was incomplete, then the music app won't include it in the same album (unless you have a music app that is based on folder hierarchy, not ID4 tag info).
