Why did you pick the D2 over the Incredible?

My thing with going physical keyboard was the screen space. With the iPhone everytime I went landscape the damned keyboard takes up all the screen so it only leaves like 15-20% of the actual screen viewable. Posting on forums and having to quote things or check to make sure the paragraph I just typed was clear of errors was just too much a pain. The instant I tried a coworkers D2 and saw I can type while still seeing the full screen I was sold, and still am :)

Rev.

That is definitely a bonus. I did eventually give up my Droid 2 for the bigger Droid X, but the ability to type while seeing the full screen is really nice.

New, rather simple reason to like the Droid 2...I was at the gym and wanted to skip to another song...the controls were right on the screen and I didn't need to unlock the phone. As far as I know that wasn't possible on the Incredible. I'm also rather impressed with the build quality. This thing has some weight behind it. The calls I have made so far have been nice and clear too. I didn't have to ask anyone to repeat anything.

I believe you can control the media player from the lock screen on the Incredible as well. But I agree with the build quality.
