Android Central Question

My service is with Verizon, only reason I took PIE update is my phone volume left and was told if there were any updates available I should take them to correct the problem. Never expected to get what I got after taking it.
You literally have to re-learn the phone again as if it is new. Most updates I haven't minded as there were minor changes to phone. This update I hate I took.
Not having the ability to answer phone calls with the home button which is much safer while driving than trying to swipe.
The camera changes I dislike, removed the ease of switching from still to video now you have to scroll.
There are so many changes that went from convenient to awful.

Updates are VERY device-specific, you don't say which device you have. Additionally - AndroidCentral did not release the update for your device, and unless you have a Pixel or an AndroidONE device neither did Google. Device updates are developed and released by the device manufacturer as they like to make their own changes/adds to the update, I suggest you find the feedback form for your device manufacturer and submit your thoughts to them.
