Why do I get only one option when I press the power button on my Moto G2?

problem in my moto G2

when i press the power button of my moto G2, then i only see a single option to switch off the phone. But earlier on pressing the power button, it showed three options. So i want to know why this is happening?

Welcome to Android Central! That may be due to the Lollipop update.

Yup... Lollipop only gives you one option. Hopefully that will change with the arrival of 5.1

Well there is actually a second option.

If you press and hold the power off option for a couple of seconds then you will see a second option to reboot in to safe mode.
