Why do I get twitter has stopped message

[Android Central Question]

When I try to get on twitter, I keep getting unfortunately twitter has stopped. I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled the app. The same message came up again. Then I got another message saying Samsung Galaxy has stopped. I have a Samsung Galaxy 5

Samsung s5 is running outdated Andriod and you will experience apps not compatible .
