Android Central Question

I have a Samsung galaxy s7. When i go to my storage it says that i used 30GB of the 32GB but the thing is that i barely used 13 or 14GB, and i know the sistem thing takes about 8 or 9GB but is still not ok, because it should say i used 23GB approximately, so i don't know where the rest 8GB are. I downloaded DiskUsage to check and it says that i have 24.8GB in total in my phone, so my doubt is, why is it not 32 like it should be? I don't know if I'm making myself clear because English is not my first language.

Welcome to Android Central! The 24.8 GB it's reporting is the total space that is available to the user. The other 7 GB or so are used by the system partition, which includes the OS and preinstalled apps that you can't remove.

What does DiskUsage tell you about the 24.8 GB available to you? Does it report 13-14 GB used, or more like 22-23 GB used?
