Why do I have a continuously blinking red light on my HTC Desire 816?

Hi,there .I just noticed now that when I'm using the phone I see a red light blinking continously . It can't be seen directly but at a dark place u can see .Am I the only one having this problem or what ?

Then my battery life is so weak ... Is there anything I could do to extend it ..

What happens when you turn off the LED notification in the settings?

Just set the screen timeout to some second instead of auto sleep. It will resolve the issue of faint light blinking in your device
