Why do I have no sound on my LG Vista?

I randomly have NO sound from this phone. Sometimes it will be on phone calls. I could put it on speaker and there would be sound. After a few days, week, issue would resolve itself. For the past week, I have absolutely no sound for notifications, ringtones, or music. I can talk on my phone in my car through bluetooth, but have no music. My music won't play on bluetooth in my house through a speaker now. Before I could hear my phone ring if I used my bluetooth speaker while I was having an issue. I really cannot afford a new phone, hoping to find a fix. I really don't believe it is a hardware issue, I think it is a software/bug issue.
