Why do I hear an eco when I call my wife and she is using her blue tooth

[Android Central Question]

My wife just got a Plantronics M70 blue tooth. Whenever I call her, I always hear an eco of myself. It doesn't matter if I use my cell phone or a land line to call her. If she turns off her blue tooth, everything is back to normal. Has anyone had this same issue?
