Why do I keep getting the error message 'Unable to download, please try again later '?

'Unable to download, please try again later '.

I have a samsung galaxy s4 mini and it keeps saying ' Unable to download, please try again later '.
I have no idea what it's wanting to download. I have updated all the apps that need updating, and this is still showing up. How do I fix or get rid of this ? Someone please help

Welcome to Android Central! Tricky problem. Is this a popup, or a notification that appears in the notification bar? If the latter, then swipe down and long press the notification, then tap App Info.

These messages are just as bad as MS. I have been trying to figure out these cryptic messages for awhile now. If it is in the notification area, its from the app and you can find it. If it is one of those that popups for 2 seconds and then disappears, I believe those to be driven by the OS. However, I have not figured out how to retrieve those errors yet. I tried turning on Developer Options email log and using the LogCat app but that has not helped. You might have to accept things are the way they are. I just ignore them now.

after doing lots of the things that have been suggested on this and other websites I deleted ALL of my text messages and it was fixed.
